Which banks permit electronic transfer between a Peso account and a USD account? I realize I can just withdraw Pesos out of my USD account, I am interested in electronically moving funds between USD and RD Pesos without going inside the bank.
If you have a US$ and RD$ accounts at Banco Popular, you can move funds online between accounts very easily. Also transferring between BPD New York (US$) to your DR Popular accounts can be done online easily and quickly.
Banco Leon also offers that, to make transfers between RD Peso and USD accounts, both linked to the same online banking, at any hour of the day, using (Buy/Sell dollars feature).

BPD NY, costs US$20 per transfer and will arrive in your Popular account here the same day, if not quicker Plus the exchange rate is pretty good.
