Anyone know where to buy / approx cost of a POS system locally in DR?

Just looking to get general idea of cost of a system to help someone with a business plan. Software, computer, barcode scanner, receipt printer, and cash drawer. Preferably something that also maintained inventory levels for a small store (not a restaurant).

Look at Microsoft and forget Windward system 5. The cost varies depending on what you need such as how many check outs and if you're running a server. Don’t look for cheap because the yearly fees will be much higher. Also ask about technical support and other clients that have businesses similar to yours.

Sosua area you could call Narciso Pichardo 829-863-8045. He is the system engineer at Playero but represents a SD company in this area. We use basically the same POS system as Playero and are very satisfied with both product and service. The price would depend on what you exactly need (want).
