I import cars to the DR and many other countrys, most of my dealers that i work with are very slow now..The demand for cars at the moment is way down from previous years. The part of high percentage of repos by the banks is very true,so this will make vehicles more available at a better price.
This is a very hard and complicated business to get into in the DR, especially when you have no knowledge of the way things work here and you are asking for advise and help on DR1.
I am not trying to discourage you, but warning you that the car business in the DR is not the kind of business that you can just jump in to like a bar or store etc..If you are not well connected here you will have a tough time making it.
