my fiance and his father

my fiance father died in 1996. he was just 15 years old. but now after more than 10 years he found out that his father had property and businesses in the dominican republic. hes older brothers took everything without giving him a cent.

now my question is, what can he do? can he sue them? how can he find out if his father had a will? is there a business registry that i can acess froom the united states?

please help. he dont want to fight this but i dont think is right what they did to him because after his father died he had nobody and became homeless. the man he is now and everything he is he did on his own.
