Importing In DR

Hi,

I want to to do business of used clothing in DR and will import from US to DR. It will be a full container load. Anyone, please help me regading rules and regulations, duties and taxes etc. in DR or if someone can share his own experience.

Sorry to burst your dream, but I think it is now illegal to import used clothing in to the DR for resale.

There was a ban imposed but according to this article the ban has been lifted, at least on a temporary basis
