Contact Estela Ros at Rancho Baiguate, and book with them. estela@ranchobaiguate.com
She will be able to tell you the rates and how they operate.

Went with them many years ago. And my sons and nieces have done their summer camp and have gone many times. They run a very professional white water rafting operation. You need to reserve the day before you go.

Rapids in general are of course dangerous, and thus one should only do them with a professional outfit. But if you follow the instructions, you will be fine. These are middle level rapids, making them very exciting.

Well worth it. Go for it.

We've been rafting twice with Rancho Baiguate and I thoroughly recommend it. Last year the cost was $50 p.p. and that included breakfast before setting off, a snack halfway down the river, a drink at the end of the course, and lunch back at the ranch. We had one hairy moment when the raft flipped over trapping us all under it, but we were safely hauled out of the water by people in other rafts. Other than that, the rapids were difficult enough to be exciting, but never so tough that we felt truly unsafe.

Rancho Baiguate is a very safe operation...it is the clients who make mistakes that cause situations...ask for Danny as your guide, he's excellent at what he does and is quite fun.

Also as an FYI, I found the river very shallow in spots (Dec 2007), at times, walkable...depending on the river's volume of flow, you will be playing in CAT1-CAT3 rapids at best.
