Thumbs up Santiago - Pics

Here are some personal pics and some I found online. There are pics of the real Santiago and it's immediate surrounding areas. You will not see decrypt and dilapidated areas like in Pueblo Nuevo, Buenos Aries, Bella Vista, etc. Most of these pics are in between La Avenida Colon and 27 De Febrero, a few in the new development sin El Dorado, and the general monumental areas which is comprises of areas like La Zurza, Los Pepines, Parte Alta, Los Colegios, La Trinitaria, and I got some of PUCUMM which is sandwiched between La Sadhala and La Autopista Durate, below La Rosaldela. Pics included are of TGIF Fridays, and the new Hospital (HOMS) which is truly first class and beautiful. Enjoy, they took a while to load them because I really messed the upload by running a Registry scan on my comp.

The homes that you see being finished will be about 8 Million Pesos (around 240K USD) and for that you get 33 meters of superior construction and none of that shingle nonsense you get in America where only the foundation is solid concrete. And with the exception of food prices, the quality of life is better and cheaper than in America. For example I took one my girlfriends to the movies, I think I spent around 20 USD for Ice Cream, Soda, Popcorn and other munchies. I do that with one of my American Girlfriends and it's atleast $50USD. That's no including gas, tolls, the bill for bottle service at the club, the hotel room, condom costs (they're getting too expensive), etc.

senor jiminez...next time when you paste the photos hit "enter" in between each paste and that way they will load vertically...

you must have pasted them side by side!!!!

thanks for the pictures tough!

it shows how diverse Santiago is

people can skew a view of a city with what they photo and when....

finally the hospital is looking like it should...i remember the concrete hull it was 6 years ago on my first visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
