Default Forum pic posting instructions

First, go download PixResizer, so that the pic you want to post on DR1 can be made small enough that it doesn't stretch the page out so wide that there is a slide bar at the bottom.

Image resizing, do it with PIXresizer

Unzip the file and install the program.

For this example, we are putting the pic that we want to post, on the desktop.
Open the Pixresizer program, select "Work with one file" then click on "Load Picture".
Select the pic and click on "Open"

Then click on "Save File", select the desktop as the download location, then click on "Save".

Then click on "Save Picture" and a smaller version of your original pic will be saved to your desktop. ready to be uploaded to the host site, in this case, Photobucket.

The next step is to go to
Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
and log in. (If you are not already a member, you have to join first)

(continued on next post)

Click on "Browse" to find the pic you want to upload.

Select the pic and click on "Open"

Then click on "Upload"

The pic will load up into Photobucket's archive.

Locate the pic below and check mark the box below it.

Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Generate HTML and IMG code"

Right click on code in "IMG images for message boards" and copy.

Paste code into your new DR1 post.

Click on preview (if you like) to be sure that all is well.

Give it it's title and click on "Submit Reply".

I really think TinyPic.com is super easy and fast

once you have a shortcut of the website..

just open the site
hit browse
find your picture where ever they are stored in your computer
highlight the one you want
click the OPEN field donw on the lower right of the tiny pic screen
now it is next to the "browse" field
below that is a field for calling your picture a name...but just type any number in there

below that is a field for RESIZING

open the choices and select "message boards"

then hit the upload button

it will put your picture in a field , and then promt you to copy that field

the one I use is called "IMG for forums and message boards"

you copy( you can highlight or click the button they give you) and then go to your forum and paste

easy as pie

i guess clipmoon must be too complicated
maybe if people post their age, i'll know whether to chime in on the subject or not. i don't want to confuse you

photobucket is cool, a little elementary for 2008 but cool....
