Traveling between Santo Domingo and Constanza

Hello... Two of us are thinking of spending two nights in Constanza. Can someone recommend options for transportation between Santo Domingo and Constanza? Any other recommendations would be great -- such as where to stay, trails to hike, etc.

I haven't been to Constanza in a while, but I think the best and quickest way to get there from SD is taking a “Voladora” from el KM. 9 to la parada de Constanza located at El Abanico ( Aut. Duarte Km. 100, Constanza entrance). Also you can take a Caribe Tours bus from SD to Bonao , when in Bonao go to el “Mercado publico” where you can reach a Carro publico, they makes turn at the corner where is located one of the biggest store of the city “Tienda los novios”.
