El Mansion? any info

was just talking to a dominican guy on the corner and he RAVED about this place. He told me it was in the mountains sorta near santiago.

I've tried googling it...no luck. It sounded great..in the mountains and close to rivers and waterfalls etc.

He might be talking about La Mansion in San jose de las matas. Is it open...? not sure....

It is on the road from Sabaneta de Yasica to Moca and is next to the Blue Moon.

I did some googling and La Mansion in San jose de las matas sounds most likely the place.

It sounds like a cool area that i would like to explore....but i dont really need anything all that fancy. Perhaps AC but thats about it.

Wouldn't you? Let the tourists stick to Punta Cana and Sosua/Cabarete. The longer we keep the other places from the masses the longer we can enjoy them.

not sure I entirely agree, although its nice to have a place to yourself, we need to get people out on the road visiting places ,spending money and coming back again
