Talking Very original, and very creative!!!!Great work!!!

How about some things you never hear people say in the Dominican Republic?

"Mom,you need to put more salt in the food !"
"This "jugo" needs more sugar!"
"Bring me a "Presidente",but not too cold!"
"Will you still respect me if I have sex with you?"
"The government project came in on time, and under-budget!"
"Everyone came early!"
"Would you like me to loan you some money?"
"Turn down that radio!"
"Lets go home now,we have to get up early for work tomorrow!"
"There is still some left, but you better buy some on the way home so we don't run out!"
"I don't want the shrimp, would you like to share a bowl of pasta?"
"Why should we buy a new "Jeepeta" our old car is just fine!"
Just a few that come to my mind! CRIS COLON

bob, believe me, i understand the point of your link. it's just a shame that the very first name on that list should be Marv Albert.

Bob, I hope you weren't offended by my posting that. It was from a very OLD Airplane movie. I remember thinking, OK, Hank Greenberg, Sandy Koufax. . . . . . . . . . . . .Uhmmmm. . . . . .Ok. Never would have thought about Marv Albert or Art Shamsky!

They could have done that joke with pretty much any nationality and I would have probably had a tough time of thinking of enough athletes. Hmmm. . . .Italian sports legends. . . . . .Joe Torre, Phil Rizzuto.. . . . . . . .Joe Dimmagio.

Polish? Carl Yastremski.. . . . . . . . ..Greg Luzinsky?

Maybe I need to watch more sports!!!

As far as Dominican sports legends as long as we talk baseball, we are ok.
