Default Dominican Mothers

Found this in someone's Myspace profile and thought it was pretty funny as well as so true...

Dominican Mothers
My mother taught me RELIGION -
"Pidele a Dios que yo no te agarre coņo."

My Mother taught me about ANTICIPATION -
"Tu vera cuando llegemos a la casa coņo."

My Mother taught me about my ROOTS -
"Malagradecio, en el Cibao yo no tenia nada"

My mother taught me LOGIC -
"Como que porque coņo, porque si!"

My mother taught me about INSPIRATION-
"Llega aqui con mala nota pa que coma chancleta"

My Mother taught me about WISDOM-
"Tu cree que sabe todo, culo cagao viejo"

-pass this on to all the dominicans you know

Question help, doesnt translate right ?

Please translate....I tried to use my internet translator, but it didnt translate correct. One translation came back as eating a pair of slippers....Dominican Moms arent that crazy....and they are much more resourseful, they could always find something better to eat. and if push came to shove wouldnt they at least tell you to sell the slippers to buy something better to eat ?
