The Pope's visit
The Pope finishes his tour of the US. He is on-route to the airport in a limo to catch his flight home.
Realizing he is running a little late and may even miss his flight, he asks the limo driver to speed it up!
The limo driver refuses saying to the Pope "one more speeding ticket and I loose my license, and I am out of a job".
The Pope says "pull over and let me drive".
The limo driver acknowledges and lets the Pope drive.
A cop sees the limo going like a bat-out-of-hell down the expressway and pulls the limo over.
The cop looks inside the limo, then lets them go.
Later on at the station the cop tells his story of pulling over a speeding limo and letting it go.
Other cops ask why he let it go?
The cop says "there was someone really really important in the limo and I thought it best not to issue a ticket".
Other cops ask "who was it"
The cop says "I don't know, but he was important enough to have the Pope driving for him"
