I have nothing personal against ye my mate....and i certainly didnt start any mud slinging in your direction. I dunno...why is it that it is always the overweight and unattractive guys that resort to name calling etc.

Ya like to dish it out bro....but you certainly cant take it can ya?

anyhoo...getting back to manny. Glad to see that he feels fit enough to make it into the rotation. I'll have a big grin on my face when he homers out to left and makes the game winning hit!
Buddette, I have always said that I was fat, short and ugly and NOW is that you see my picture?. Come on, get on with the game.

One thing I can assure you, YOU have done guys worse looking than me. Trust me. Now go back and look at my pic and see for yourself again and tell me if all of those easy Dominicans that you picked up at one point, by your own admission, were all better looking than this fat boy.

Now, back to Manny.

IN MY OPINION: He is one of the greatest player to ever put an uniform on. See, he does not need to play for my beloved Yankees for me to acknowledge the man's talent. I just don't agree with the way he plays the game. And it's my fricking right to say that I don't agree with the way he plays the game, btw.

I really do not know where you guys have been when, FOR YEARS, it has been said that the guy plays for Manny and nobody else.

"Manny is being Manny" is EVERYBODY'S excuse. What in hell is he, 5?. It's like you guys do not expect anything better from this grown-ass man. I said it once and I will say it again: I am sure that he would be pretty ****ed if he knew that many think of him as a cartoon character. "Oh he is just being Manny" is said about someone who has a problems and is NOT capable of fixing it. As if he were a imbecile incapable of amounting to anything other than hitting a ball.

If he is "just being Manny" then he should take all the criticism that comes with him being "just Manny".

And btw, I don't think for ONE second that he is as stupid as he wants people to think he is. How you like them apples?.

Ps: I am sure that if it was Alex not going to the All-Stars Game because of an "injury", ALLLLL hell would "OPEN UP". It would be "OPEN SEASON" on Alex!. But since it's Manny, oh poor Manny, he is is just "being Manny". Give me a fricking break!.

I'm getting a chuckle out of this thread. It reminds me of what a rotisserie/fantasy baseball draft guide once said about Manny. "Coherent speech and defense not rotisserie categories." Ha Unfortunately for the Red Sucks defense is a real category on the field. Manny being Manny is getting old. He lacks any personal discipline and respect for the traditions of the game.

Frank, WHAT IN HELL HAVE YOU DONE??????. How care you agree with the "DEVIL"???. Oh, may the great Lord have mercy on your soul.

The "venon" coming your way will last you a lifetime.

Oh wait, never mind, your nickname is NOT MIGUEL, hahahahahaha!.

All of these Sucks fans are so predictable. But we can not blame them. I would also be sour if my team won just one WS in 900 years. It's like all their acknowledge of baseball starts and end with the Sucks. Their players can never do anything wrong.

If Manny is such a likable and friendly person, who come he has not been with just ONE team, as people like Mattingly, Carl Ripken, Bernie and Jeter?. I know, I know, Sucks fans, because of the "money issue".

When are these guys ever going to realize that HE "loves" the Sucks and it's fans SO MUCH that he wanted to get traded OUT of Boston. Yes, I know, Sucks fans, he was just "being Manny".

He's been a leader in OF assists for the past couple years. His defense is good, sometimes excellent. At other times it can make you wonder, but on the whole, he is no defensive liability.

On the bases he is often a liability because it requires an attention level he clearly isn't interested in. Fortunately, most of his baserunning involves jogging around the diamond and not taking extra bases or keeping track of outs.

You are the typical example of why people do not like New Yorkers.

I was not wrong about you when I told you, many moons ago, that you were a BOZO. Now it's worse, not only do you sound like a BOZO but also like a little kid!. Always sticking your nose where it does not belong.

I thought that you took your beatings from me like a man many moons ago but I guess that you are still haunted by it since you can not let things go.

Give it up darling, I will not change for you or anybody.

The funny thing is that you have to take it and like it.

Hey nosey, I am not a New Yorker but I know that you have to throw it somehow to make your point.

Get this straight, I AM NOT going anywhere so you will live your life saying things to me and me making fun of you. It's that easy. You never learn, never. I "eat" people like you for breakfast, especially when I know that I get under their skins. You, little kid, do not know how much I like people "telling me off". I love it so keep it coming!.

And yes, I am Dr. Phil and you are my Oprah.

Don't you have a Dominican to kill or something, since you seem to love them so much?.

Please, "tell me off" some more.

"you are the typical example why....", Jesus Christ, what are we 5?. What a moron!.

'Where do they find these cartoon characters?".

Btw, wanna buy a car?. Perhaps some clown shoes?. Hahahahaha!.

I have enough friends where it matters, not in a fricking computer site where everybody is a "phantom" to me. THAT'S the reason why you, sticking your nose where it does not belong, WILL always get it from me, because you, a "phantom" to me, matter very little to me.

Steve Pindar:

you are right, I said it a few days ago that this thread should be closed. The moment I saw "Oprahgoing" throw his little jabs at me, I knew that it was a matter of time before the thread went downhill. See, he can not let go of the "beatings" that I gave him a few years ago. He can't let it go, what can I say.

Btw, the home run derby is today and it's been televised, as usual, on ESPN from 8pm to 10pm.

Again, if the moderator cares, he would close the thread or delete/edit all posts, including mine, that have nothing to do with Ramirez!.

...just want him to go away.

Can't we just talk about how great Manny is, and how terrible of a person he is for playing 19 innings on Sunday and wanting to take a few days off instead of pressing the flesh of corporate scumbags in Pittsburgh?
