Cleef - to your credit, even though I know how much you loathe the Yankees, you do give credit to certain Yankee players for being the high caliber players that they are. It's a shame that other Red Sox fans here don't have your class.

As I've said here before - I am a Yankee fan. I don't like the Red Sox, but do not hate them, and I would certainly never call them the MF Red Sox.

"MFY's" is not my line. It comes from Bucky F'n Dent and the other F'n Yankee who hit the HR off Wakefield a few years ago. It just fits.

As I've said before, I grew up with the MFY's on WPIX (and Mets I believe - 70s) and of course the Red Sox. I gladly admit to be a fan of both. As of now, I can't stand Jeter or Rodriguez so I find it very simple to root against them.

That being said, I love having my team be a part of the greatest rivalry in American sport.

My picks for the post season.

NL:
Phillies over the Rockies
Cubs over the D'Backs

Cubs over the Phillies

AL:
Indians over the MFYs
Saaaaawx over Angels

Saaaawx over the Indians

Saaaawx over the Cubs.

Saaaaaaaaaaaaaawx!

Love to see the rest of the gallery make their predictions, instead of Kleenex jokes, yadda yadda yadda.

Can't wait to see the Rally Monkey in Anaheim come the 7th inning of game 3. Saaawx are very familiar with the monkey - they're usually leading in the 7th

Yeah, and the Marlins were the Wild Card winners in 2003, and we beat the crap out of your MFY's!!!!

GO INDIANS!!!!!!

But the finale SHOULD be CUBS/SOX!!!!
I'm still undecided on who I would pick to win it all...maybe the Cubbies since they haven't won in sooooooooo long...

For some reason, I'm always rooting for the underdog...
