Default New Yankee Manager?

Here's a question for Yankee fans as well as anyone who cares to contribute -

If Joe Torre retires, goes elsewhere or is fired by George -

1. Who would you like to see as the Yankees next manager?

2. Who do you think George will select?

Joe Giraldi or Don Mattingly. Keep the search in-house.

1. Tom Kelly

2. Tony LaRussa (Dumb move, but that's George!)

Talking Here is my vote

Since NY is the biggest stage for baseball, then I think that they need the biggest person that they can put on that stage and there is nobody better than.........

Sweet Lou could also manage the Knicks. He was a high school All-American in basketball at Tampa Jesuit.

Enjoying everyone's post so far. Great suggestions.

Hlywud - your post had nothing to do with the thread I started. If you want to criticize Joe Torre or the Yankees either post it somewhere else or start your own thread.
