no predictions here.

i think on paper the sox SHOULD win this...i believe that they probabaly will.

i cant say that i dislike the rockies. they are a very young and upstart team.

its funny how in 04 the sox were america's darlings....now EVERYONE is rooting against them. ITs kinda like they have become the new yankees.

I kinda like Mannys response last week. "if we win we win..if we lose then there is next year". I liked that cuz it sorta sums up that this is just a GAME after all.

Of COURSE i want the sox to win...but if they dont will i cry or lose a nights sleep? I just hope for some interesting games and a good series....but in my heart i will be yelling LETS GO RED SOX!!!!

that lugo sure got me worried the other night tho...for sure he was going to be the next buckner...but he came thru

I have to agree with you about everyone rooting against the Sox. I'm in a mountain town on the West Coast where most people are from somewhere else, and I'd have to say the majority (that catches my attention) is rooting against the Sox, and I very much understand. The Sox were beloved as underdogs, but now people are sick of them. Agreed, and understood.

I don't wear any laundry if/when I go to games or watch them at a local watering hole. It invites nothing but negative attention.

Again, I understand!

And thanks for betting your tab against mine for games 5, 6, & 7!

I put $50 on the Sox (@ 7.5/1) in March to win the whole thing.

Tonight I put $30 on the Rockies to win the series (+170). Worst case scenario, I make a $1 (not counting gas to and from the casino).
