Gigantes del Cibao moving to Puerto Plata?

I enter this forum somewhat timidly (being a female from UK who knows nada about baseball) but..................anyone else heard this one? A rumoured move of the Gigantes to PP using the old baseball stadium which would be spruced up by sponsorship of local businesses. Luichy Sánchez said this on El Nido Aguilucho. Dismissed as nonsense by Gigantes people. Does anyone know anything? If true it would be very good news for the old stadium.
