I'm not understanding this-why does he have to serve three years probation, get a job and work towards his high school diploma if he's not a US citizen?

I figured after the 30 days are up he'd be deported...sounds strange.

Instead of punishing him, it sounds as if he caught a lucky break to make a life for himself in the US.

Has he been released from the baseball team he was pitching for? If so, why does he get to stay after he serves his sentence?

if you look at their roster, they have many dominican players, santo domingo. la romana, etc.
maybe that had something to do with it or the fact that they are affiliated with Da Cubs.....

Damn how much hate against the Dominican minor leaguer, Frank Francisco throwed a chair against a lady in the stand and they didn't deport him. Why they should deport this guy who was clearly throwing at the other team and the ball slipped to the fan. He is still throwing hard and have his talent, give him a second chance and he may wind up OK.
