GDP-WASH Dominican Professionals in D.C.

The Group of Dominican Professionals in Washington DC is having its 2004 Annual Fundraising Gala on November 19, 2004, in Washington, D.C. This year's honorees are Grammy Award winner Juan Luis Guerra and internationally acclaimed fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.

Some peepz (people for those who don't get along with slang) in here have probably already heard of this group down in D.C. which i'm more then sure is a member of the DANR (Dominican American National Roundtable) I found this to be interesting yet proud to see more Dominican professionals gathering in the other states for the well-being of the Dominican community as much in the U.S. as in the D.R.

What Dominican Tony forgot to mention is that this year's event will benefit hundreds of children suffering from cancer at the Robert Reid Cabral Hospital in the Dom. Rep. You contribution/donation/sponsorship will help provide these disadvantage children much needed medicines and free chemotherapy treatment.
