Default 6 Dominicans in the World Series.

Ok, here we go again. The World Series of baseball this time with 3 Dominicans on each side. Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez and ALCS MVP David Ortiz for the Red Sox and Julian Tavarez, Hector Luna and NLCS MVP Albert Pujols for the Red Birds.

Who to root for? First of all, we Dominicans have plenty to cheer about already with probably the most successful MLB season ever for Dominican players in general. The fact that both leagues' most valuable player trophies went to two great Dominicans, both as players and as persons, David Ortiz of the Bosox, a very likable guy and Albert Pujols of the Cards, is in itself of great satisfaction.

So, let us hope that our countrymen do well, that it goes to 7 games so all baseball fans can enjoy the series to the fullest and to use the old cliche, may the best team win.
