Talking

Hola mi gente! Like every one else that has moved from East coast to LA, there is an immediate shock that there aren’t an abundance of Caribbean Latinos or meringue/ salsa stations for that matter. I moved from NYC/NJ about two years ago to Long Beach and ever since have been on a quest to find Dominican establishments here in LA. There are various Cuban restaurants which have slightly satisfied my craving for a pure Dominican restaurant or the amazing cooking de mi madre. While I am enjoying every other aspect about living in LA and would probably not move back to the East coast, I do frequently miss those hot summers nights in Washington Heights with my Dominican folks!

For some of you that are interested, Long Beach hosts annual Cuban, Puerto Rican & Columbian festivals by the Queen Mary which for a moment in time takes you back to the festivals on the East Coast. The PR festival is this weekend and I will definitely be there to enjoy music by Tito Nieves and the delicious food. You can get more info at habanapromotions dot com.

Default Busco Dominicanos En San Diego

Una Pregunta, Si Somos Dominicanos Porque No Hablamos El Espanol, Enfin , El Motivo De Mi Comentario Es Que Necesito Encontrar Dominicanos Residentes En San Diego, Yo Vivo En Tijuana Tengo 6 Años Viviendo Aqui, Todos Los Fines De Semana Voy A Los Angeles Pero Aqui En Tijuana No Hay Dominicanos, Para Las Chicas Se Hacer Rolos Y Desrizar Con Eso De Que Los Salones De Aqui No Conocen Eso, Y Para Los Chicos Cocino Super Rico, Y A Mi Esposo Le Encanta Conocer Mas Gente De Mi Raza, Asi Es Que Aqui Les Dejo Mi No. De Tel. Por Si Desean Contactarme, Ya Que Necesito Hablar Con Gente De Mi Raza Para Volver A Adquirir Mi Preciado Acento Que Ya Lo Perdi. 011-52-664-604-0060 Y 619-664-4484

Default Moving to oceanside

I'll be moving to oceanside in july, actually driving from north carolina. I lived in san diego back in 02-04 before I went to Iraq. There some dominicans in california specially san diego. they have a good dominican club in chula vista is called el tropical is also a restaurant. I'm moving down to oceanside with my wife, she is also dominican from puerto plata and my two kids. If you want to get in touch send me an im or email, maybe we can get together and make a sancocho con arroz blanco and aguacate.
