White House Celebrates Dominican Independence Day

Yesterday in Washington, DC, The White House hosted its 4th Annual Dominican Independence Day reception. Among the speakers at the reception were Hans Hertell, US Ambassador to the Dominican Republic; Flavio Dario Espinal, Dominican Ambassador to the US; Ruben Barrales, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Bush Administration; Cid Wilson, President of the Dominican American National Roundtable; Fernando Mateo, President of Hispanics Across America; and Dr. Ramon Tallaj, Chairman of the Hispanic Development Foundation. The White House reception was organized by the Jennifer Korn, Associate Director for the White House Office of the Public Liaison.
