I am in Saskatchewan and I use a call world card, it charges me 4 cents a minute for 829 and 10 cents for 809 weather it is land lines or cell phones, I buy it at 7/11 . Call home also has the same rates

I'm in Montreal and I use a Titan card. There is 2,48$ CDN left. If I call a cell in the D.R. (809) I'll have for 130 minutes (less than 0.02 per minute). No connection fees. I have used in the past Globo, Eureka and others but Titan is the cheapest I've ever used.

I just started using 10-10-710 here in Western Canada and it gives you 8 minutes for 99 cents.

Why you don't use one of the forwarding call systems like DGTEC or llamamucho.com and just use the card to ask to call you back?? Both of them have unlimited plans starting at US$15 per month. You will save a ton of money. Just a watch out sign for the monthly plan, to play safe.
