Communidad dominicana en Montréal, Canada

La comunidad dominicana esta creciendo muy rapidamente en Montréal. Ademas hay muchas actividades en esta ciudad de 2 million de personas. Montréal (Canada) es a 6 horas por caro o 1 hora de avion al norte de la ciudad de Nueva York (USA). Ademas desde 10 años hay un enorme festival de merengue donde mas de 15 000 mil de personas disfruten la musica y comidad dominicana. Para los que le gusta salir a bailar hay 2 discotecas donde se pone solamente musica dominicana. La discoteca se llama 'Discoteca Punta Cana' sobre la calle Jean-Talon ricon de la calle Clark y hay el 'Club El Vacilon' sobre la calle St-Hubert cerca de la calle Beaubien. Hay tambien otras discotecas latina en Montréal.

Personnally I prefer El Vacilon but Punta Cana is still good too. There are a lot of Dominicans living in Montréal who obviously goes at the merengue festival and also there is also a lot of dominicans from the north east part of the USA (especially New York, Vermont and Connecticut ) who comes at the festival. Year after year this festival is a bigger success.

Normally it is on the 3rd weekend of the month of July, year after year.
