So... Any Dominicans in Las Vegas or nearby?

I once had a friend (trying to be friends with her again) that was from NY, and her Parents moved there from Dominican Republic. Makes her Dominicanyor I think.. She moved here about 12 years ago or so....

Wondering if there is any other Dominican people that migrated west and ended up here. Just curious...

I love to party, and from what I take it my friend when she was a friend to me used to do, she loves to party too a lot - so I take it U all are party animals?!? (That's a good thing lol) ;-)

drtechnology let me give you a little advise. Don't try so hard. I can see that you are head over heels with this girl. You can reach out but don't smoother the girl. By reading your other posts it seems she's been through quite a bit in a short period of time. You probably should reach out, as a friend, at first and take it slow. You don't want to be the rebound guy. Good luck

at the "Rhino" while visiting with some friends recently. I live 2.5 hours from Vegas. I have some friends there working Cirque shows and others into the party scene.

Oh if U only knew...

I won't go into details here, but it's quite complicated. Look, Past almost 2 years in August, I have only sent her nice gifts and a card, and maybe some flowers (she said no one ever gave her flowers until I did once while we were friends) anyways - did that on Christmas and her birthday. Twice a year. Told her if she ever wanted to be friends again call me or something. Never heard back. I am not head over heals with her, but do kinda like her, and do wanna be friends again.

So I am not pushy and prolly should be doing more than I am, why I wanna send her some nice poems/songs in her language for once for Mother's Day.

Look, THIS thread about any DR's in Vegas, has nothing to do with her. I actually wanted to see if there were any of you here, that's all. Maybe in the future one of U could help me learn the DR Language. I kow pequito Spanish, but would not mind learning a 2nd language and books from tghe Library on Learning it are not helping me much, I am not learning it for some reason.. lol

That's why I made this thread, just to see if anyone besides my past friend was here whom was DR...

Hi...I'm not Dominican but have a Dominican friend that I would love to be able talk to in Spanish. I live in LA, but haven't been able to find a Dominican community out here. Really I'd love to get in touch with someone that would be willing to teach me Spanish (I'd pay of course..) and get to know more about the Dominican culture. So far, I'm in love with what I know of the culture and Dominicans zest for life... :-) Can anyone help?
