I am visiting the DR either this month or next to inquire about sourcing locally grown tobacco. I currently do business with Lancaster Leaf Tobacco here in the States.

I am interested in tobacco bearing the characteristics of type-41 grown in the States. Please email me if you can satisfy my requests o call me directly at 347-203-8605

Dexter: most of the tobacco grown here is for cigar manufacture.
they do grow Burley (I think) and they used to grow flue cured Virginia (or is it the other way around.)
All of the cigarette tobacco is bought by the local cigarette manufacturers.

Lancaster has done business here for years...
