Thumbs up Dominican Identity and Migrations to la Hispaniola

As part of the celebrations an special events hosted at the Museum of African American Arts, the Dominican exhibit "Merengue! Visual Rhythms/Ritmos Visuales" invited the community to be part of the screening of the film "Dominican Identity and Migrations to la Hispaniola" for the first time in Boston.

Boston Latino TV interviewed Nestor Montilla about the roots of international migrations to Hispaniola, and how these groups have contributed to the multicultural richness and ethnic mixture of the Dominican Republic, including African descendants from the United States and Haitians.

Default Saw It In New York

The documentary is great! I saw it when it was first presented in New York and was amazed to discover the many different peoples that make up the Dominican Republic. Every Dominican should see this.

As far as I know, it is not. I have searched and tried to find it, but not been able to find it outside of a presentation.
