LOL!
I think that my overall image on DR1 is slightly skewed away from who I really am. This is expected since I tend to post strong opinions in controversial threads. Thus, my multiple opinions could be giving people the wrong image of who I am.
When I see something that is odd, such as attacking out of the blue long after a particular debate was conducted by a particular poster, it gets me thinking as to whether or not my impact on them went beyond debating on DR1 and into their personal conscience or maybe, had a psychological impact on them.
I know it might be alittle to much to think in these terms, but anything is possible. I want people to know that my opinions are just that, opinions. They are not intended to haunt anybody beyond the DR1 setting, especially not into their day to day life. If anybody constantly find themselves thinking about anything I have posted in their day to day living, by all means contact me on PM.
I don't want to torment anybody.
In anycase, I hope I am just over reacting here and its not the otherway around. If my hope is true, then at least I know that my inputs on DR1 are taken as they were intended, in other words, as debatable points of views and not personal in anyway. Even when a post seems as an attack from my part, its nothing more than defending my posts which are based on my opinions. Its not meant to make a person dislike me or develop a grudge towards myself or anything.
It's like I always say, a person can be nice and have radical ideas at the same time. It's important to not mix either of the two beyond their own places.
It's very very important for people to take DR1 debates as the debates they are and not make judgements on the person expressing their opinion, because having an opinion and having a personality that mimicks such opinion are two different things that almost always are the farthest things from the truth.
Some of the nicest people I know, have some of the most radical and strong points of views, some of which I may strongly disagree. In anycase, I never judge them based on their points of views, but rather on the person they are.
That does not mean that I won't confront them in a particular debate, because I will, but what's confronted in a debate should not spill into anything other than the debate itself.
Just wanted to clear this up for all.
Have a nice weekend.
