here is a classic example of reported press that has a tendency to bring out the indiscriminateness in a lot of people and put the blame on the ‘bad’ DR. Notice the ‘catch phrases’ in the article like ‘illegal immigrants’, ‘citizenship to Haitians’ and ‘denies citizenship to Haitian children’. These ‘catch phrases’ are always ignored in the minds of the modern liberlas in their defense of their proposed circumvention of that which is fact and laid out by the laws.
There are
those that
have a tendency to place the blame in some of the areas where it truly lies but this is usually followed by those that say ‘yes but’. It is this ‘yes but’ that augments their indiscriminateness in all that is right and just in the eyes of the law. Any deviation from following the proper procedures in changing the laws as written is a form of injustice and evil in the minds of a lot of people including me.
This article, though written in May of 2000, is still true today and pretty well sums up the situation here in the DR. With all these problems being the facts of the matter it should make it evident that the DR is in no position to handle the problems faced by its neighbor Haiti.
This article,( recognize the author?), speaks volumes but interesting are the user comments.
Here is a report from the area that I live in if you by some chance need further proof that things are not ‘peachy’ for “Dominicans”. Of course if the problems of "Dominicans" is not your point of interest then just ignore these articles as they probably don't fit your idea as to what is good, right and just.

this article gives a perspective from a few Haitian’s points of view. Of those truly wishing to help Haiti I would suggest that a starting point would be with those organizations listed in the last paragraph.
