Only Balaguer has inclined more to the right than him. But in the latinamerican spectrum, it appears that he's right on the center.

Whatever he may be, he HAS made a few inroads in the "Corruption-mindedness" mileau of theDominican Political scenarios.
It may be that he has "bitten off more than he can chew" by continuuing the unabatted borrowing, however. If ever the influx of investors diminishes, he will be in trouble economically. He does seem to have the "golden touch" where that is concerned, however. All he really has to do is keep his party in line and pass the "correct legislation" to continue his success...unlike the babooning of Hipolito.
