I was surprised to find out Andy was Dominican. I expect a lot of Latinos think he is from some other LA country.

23andme and they did both, the maternal and paternal lines. I opted out of the sharing feature.

I even have a copy of my whole decoded genome, although I don't know what I'm going to do with it. lol

That's awsome, I also took the 23andme test, if you're Cibaeņo or have Cibaeņo roots, than we're probably related, nearly all Cibaeņos at 23andme have come out related in one way or another. You can send your decoded Genome to many projects out there, the best one in my opinion is Mcdonald, he'll further brake down your admixture percentages, for example he will tell you from where in Europe your European ancestry is from, and other interesting stuff. This is his email if your're interested mcdonald@scs.uiuc.edu.

For example here are the analyzes of one of my family members by Doctor Mcdonald.

This is a Latin American type profile, rather high on the Euro and Mideast.

    Male
Most likely fit is 73.4% (+- 1.8%) Europe (all Western Europe)
    and 8.6% (+- 0.4%) America (various subcontinents)
    and 10.0% (+- 1.8%) Mideast (various subcontinents)
    and 8.0% (+- 1.0%) Africa (various subcontinents)

The following are possible population sets and their fractions,
    most likely at the top
