Default "Dominican"

Quote:
Kiskeya is the name not The "Dominican" Republic.

The word "Dominican" comes from St. Dominic's (Santo Domingo in Castillian) Order of Preachers of the Roman Catholic Church from the 13th century. The "Dominicans" carried out one of the largest genocides in history, the Spanish Inquisition against Jews and Moors in the Iberian Peninsula. The Dominicans were also partly responsible for the genocide in North Africa, Asia Minor and Palestine during the Crusades.

Christopher Columbus was financed by Queen Isabella and King Ferdandand so that he could establish new trade routes to the east in order for the Spanish Catholic Kingdoms to finance the war. He landed in Haiti-Kiskeya and found gold. The priests of the Dominican Order not only assisted in the genocide of the Arawak/Taino, Caribs and Siboneys but they also were partually responsible for the administration of the West African slave trade and colonies in the "new world".

The name "Dominican" Republic comes from the "Dominican" Order who were actually a group of murderers everywhere they went. Juan Pablo Duarte's Trinatarian partners were very aware of this murderous reputaion and chose the name on purpose. That is why the flag has a Catholic Cross (from the Crusades) and the seal in the middle has a Bible. It also takes the colors (blue and red) that represents the Mullato and Black unity and separates them in 4 directions by the White Cross. A simple representaion of Divide and Conquer. The name Trinataria has meaning also. The Trinataria were another order within the Roman Catholic Church (12 century) sanctioned by the Pope and carried out much of his dirty work. Killing those that refused to convert to Catholicism.

We reject the Roman Catholic name of "Dominican" and the flag that contains symbols of our oppression. We also reject the notion of the "Patra" which always meant Mother Spain. We are Kreole: A mix of Indigenous and African, Black and Mullato.

We know that all of the history books of the Dominican Republic were destroyed and re-Written during the Trujillo regime (1930-1961) and replaced with false and made-up history of the "Dominican Patriots" who were really Catholic White Supremicists who hated people of color unless they were "house negroes". We know they were not fighting for our freedom but for the return of slavery so that their families could make money. We know that Trujillo and Ballaguer after him have conditioned the people for 60 years of lies and fabrications in order to keep us in control and keep us hating oursleves. We will no longer be brainwashed by our country's false propaganda that only benefits our oppressors.

WE ARE KISKEYANOS. NOT "DOMINICANOS"!!!! GET THE NAME RIGHT!!!

KISKEYA WITH A "K" and NO CATHOLIC CROSS ON OUR FLAG!!!!!

FREE YOUR MIND & FREE KISKEYA!!!!

Saint Dominic of Guzman (Santo Domingo de Guzmán) campaign against the Cathars in the Albigensian Crusade makes the KKK look like a group of girl scouts selling cookies. I understand that it was Saint Dominic who coined the phrase, "Kill them all, let God sort them out".

Dig a little deeper into the blog and you'll find the following information:

Quote:
We are a collective of Human Rights Activists that are committed to the defense of the lives of the Black people in The "Dominican" Republic. We are committed to building a coalition of organizations in order to place International pressure on the government, businesses and the citizens of the Dominican Republic in order to stop the impending genocide that is the process of taking place. Nowhere in the western hemisphere are black people being lynched and burned alive due to the color of their skin except in the Dominican Republic. As a first course of action we are calling for a general boycott of tourism to the Dominican Republic as well as a boycott of all Dominican products and services until the genocide stops. We also urge you to help us disiminate this information to your communities in order to keep the pressure on in order to stop this racist crime against humanity. FREE KISKEYA!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm... this sounds familiar. Where did I... oh wait... remember this from this poll?

BTW, where exactly is this genocide that is supposedly occuring in the DR?

Interesting how the timing coincides with the DR-CAFTA agreement initiation and the continuing boom in tourism.

I exposed this person on myspace, i asked the preson why they make it seem like "blacks" are foreign in d.r when in fact blacks/mixedblacks are the MAJORITY of the country, thats like saying Rwanda's are killing blacks during the rwanda massacre. The correct term was the Tutsi are killing the Hutu and vice versa. The correct term for the agenda should be "SOME dominicans are killing and/or mistreating haitians". The answer the person gave me was that they use the word black, because its geared to have afroamericans support their boycott. THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDNT put Haitian because Afroamericans didnt care about Haitians, but since they put the general term black, afroamericans would care and support their cause.

I fully support that we be call Kiskeya, but that will take time to change. But we have to do things in an honest and organized way, not in a way that gives people false impressions. You can't use a Nationality and a "Race" as confliciting news story. Thats like saying Americans are killing blacks, are afroamericans not black? Again i'm down with the Kiskeya Idea, but not with the people promoting it.
If we're going to change names, then let's call it Taina, after the Tainos.
That's the choice.
Go back to the original roots known to history, or accept today's names as they have evolved.
Picking a mid point in history is BS.
If you buy an old 1957 Chevrolet, it bears the Chevrolet name, from it's origins.
You could call it, "My car", as you are now the rightful owner.
To call it Albert's car, because he owned it from '61 to '63, would be ridiculous.

SuperConejo, the people behind such attacks are often socialists and former communists who feel dissatisfied with the fact that their ideologies is no longer taken seriously and the power and threat they once had towards capitalism is mostly gone!

For this reason they moved to other spheres of influence where they can attack capitalism and the capitalists. Often they exaggerate and twist half-truths to get an emotional reaction from the general public and get support for their attacks against capitalism, progress, and to a certain extent democracy.

This attack on the DR from their part is just another example of socialists being dissatisfied with the lot fate has given them and quite frankly, this is the way they express such.

The people who control such movements don't really believe the things they say. In the case of the DR, they know the "genocide" they talk about doesn't exist, but they say such to get a public outcry and reaction.

They use the word Black to infuriate Afro-Americans about a genocide that doesn't exist, get Afro-Americans to act on such lies, and push forward the socialist agenda of the people who control such movements.

If anything, this is an abuse and an attack on the intelligence of Afro-Americans, given that they are playing with words to get a particular reaction from an audience that has little knowledge of the real situation.

BTW, the country's name will always be La República Dominicana. The meaning behind the name of our country has been distorted by those lowlifes in order to fulfill their outdated and ridiculous socialist causes.
