Default Border/Trade with Haiti- Fenatro?

There is now an almost complete blockade of the border trade between the DR and Haiti - from a conflict over the truckers payments/routes- with the Haitian truckers wanting DR products to be offloaded at the border and transported on Haitian trucks.

I have heard historically that the truckers/transport union here is extremely strong.

Could posters speak to possible impacts/history/ and solutions?

thanks

That is FENATRADO. A syndicate that tries to control all trucking.
