I thought this thread was about DR and all the crap the buscones do to get the prospects signed. Furthermore, what steps have been or are being taken to stop all the abuse.

IMO - if MLB is counting on the DR gov to intervene hahahahahahaa good luck! The only solution to this problem is CLOSE DOWN the training facilities to show Dominicans a lesson!

This is ridiculous. I have not written a single word on this forum where I recommend the use of anabolic steroids. Also, I have not written a single word where I deny that anabolic steroids may alter one's mood.

Nevertheless, I have consistently said, unlike some drugs, there has not been any conclusive proof that anabolic steroids cause clinical depression or suicide. Neither clinical depression or suicide is mentioned in the JAMA article and to say that a 1 in 20 appearance of an "acute manic" episode is either suicide or clinical depression is stretching the truth to serve your own means.

Interesting article. B-12 injections for teenagers? Too many injections of this type can lead to kidney failure and thyroid problems. Of course the heart of the matter is this is just a smoke screen for buscones to selfishly administer roids. Is anyone really surpised that the three tenants of Dominican society- greed, corruption and dishonesty- have crossed over into baseball?? Now it makes sense why so many Domincans have tested for roids vs. Puerto Ricans, who are at a much lower level for positive drug tests
