Help please, need feedback on Fiesta Bavaro!

I just booked the Fiesta Bavaro for my mom, sister, me and our 3 sons. I hope I didn't make a mistake. I read a review that claimed the resort was run-down. Is this true? I wanted a nice resort, but now I fear that I didn't make the right choice. Can anyone comment on the hotel, food and kids activites? Thanks so much, I would appreciate any info at all.

or in the travel section of this website. I love the Bavaro Palace when I go to Punta Cana. Everyone has their own preferences. There are probably better ones than the Fiesta Bavaro, so it's up to you to make up your mind.
