I have a few questions, can anyone help please?

Best hotel in Bavaro for family(13 & 14) next to beach

No one has said that their are tropical fish in the shallow water that you can see when snorkelling just off the beasch - are there?

We can only go late july or early August for two weeks. How will the weather, ie storms or even Hurricanes! be then, how much rain can we expect.

Just about any hotel on Bavaro Beach will meet your criteria. As for tropical fish, not really tropical like in an aquarium but indigenous fish that inhabit the waters, lots of yellow tail, snapper, needle fish and a lot of small bait fish like anchovies.
You take your chances on hurricanes from July till October, weather will be hot.
