Surfing in Punta Cana

Hi, I will be traveling to Punta Cana in the next couple of weeks. I was wondering if the surfing is any good in and around Bavaro Beach? If so, are there good spots or places to rent suf boards?

Bavaro beach is not a surfers beach. For surfing, look into Playa Caribe (near Juan Dolio-Guayacanes-Boca Chica) or Playa El Encuentro-Cabarete.

the only good surf beach around that zone (punta Cana) is in Macao
its relative far .. but the waves are good

about renting a surf board ... i dont think you will find a place ... i suggest buying one or borrowing a surf board
