you can contact Bronly from IBK for a actual quote on ibkservicios@gmail.com
i use his services very often myself for my business, never had any prob or complain.
have a great time on the Isle

Question Need some help

I am traveling to punta cana airport on may 18th I arrive at 1:30 pm, I need to know the cheapest way to go to Santo domingo. do I have to take a taxi to the bus stop? or does the airport provides a shuttle that I can use? I am from the dominican republic so I know how to deal with people, I just need some orientacion in what to expect or what to do once I get there, I am going to santiago but I know how to get there once I am in santo domingo, please help me, I am traveling with a nine month old baby and I want to make it at smooth as posible.

Thanks much appreciate it!

hi Girl,
cheap and smooth do not always go along with each others.
there are no shuttles at the PUJ airport, a cabby would run for around $150.- one way.
your public bus option is the following:
grab a cab at the airport and let him bring you to the bus station in Veron, that ride should cost 15-20 bucks, you as a dominican will bring your rate down of course. so here you take the bus to Higuey, they will drop you off right at the bus station for the buses from higuey to St Dgo, ride from higuey to st dgo will take 2 hrs and 45 minutes, ride from Veron to Higuey around 40 minutes, ride from the airport to the Sitrabapu busstation in Veron around 10 minutes. the bus from Veron to higuey runs for around 90 pesos, the bus higuey-st dgo for 215 pesos. bring something to keep your little one warm on the heaviliest airconditioned express bus higuey - st dgo, those airconditions are freezing, so some protecting clothes for the baby would be a good idea.
have fun
Mike

Mike, can you get Bronly to post new rates as the sticky rates must be very outdated. I just got a reply back from Bronly for PUJ to Caribe Club or Palladium, and he quoted me $40 each way, not the $22 that listed in the sticky... thanks amigo
