Default Your questions

Most of your questions have been answered. Malaria is a sticky issue with both the CDC and PHAC having posted alerts. This has to be done when there are any cases reported.

Medical advice should only be taken from your DOCTOR or travellers clinic and not members of these forums.

Default Iberostar offers guests exceptional service in Dominican Republic

Punta Cana.– Judge Eunice Sepulveda is busy wheeling around the region today marrying tourists who flock here to exchange vows by the seaside.

Just after 4 p.m., a casually dressed Sepulveda pulls up to a beach at the Iberostar Bavaro resort and greets family and friends of U.K. couple Wayne and Nicola Heald, who are awaiting their vows.

The Brits cheer, clink glasses and yell as Wayne, 32, plants a kiss on the lips of Nicola, 30.

“We both wanted to get married on a beach for a long time,” says Wayne, who travelled from Derby, England, with his wife and their friends for the big day.

The Healds’ spent hours researching hotels on the island before choosing the Iberostar chain, which operates five all-inclusive five-star resorts on the island.

In Punta Cana itself, there are three adjacent Iberostars, including the Bavaro, the Dominicana and Punta More on http://www.dominicantoday.com/app/article.aspx?id=21223

Hi I'm also new here but I definitely know something about Iberostar Bavaro. You can scuba dive in the swimming pool but to do it in the ocean you have to get a certificate, you can also try asking about it in the dive center on the beach. There is a doctor available H a day and the bavaro clinic is also nearby, neither me nor my family or friends ever took shots for malaria and it's almost impossible to fall ill. As for the kids, everything depends on the colour of bracelets they'll get....if they are less then 18 they should get a red one not to be able to drink alcohol. I came back from DR a week ago and the weather was OK but it was a bit cloudy and rainy. The place is just amazing and you'll love the people right away, the animation team is also great and friendly. Hope you'll have the time of your life.....best wishes
