Unique entertainment in Cortecito

I stumbled on some truly enjoyable music at the Flamboyan Restaurant next to the Cortecito Inn this week.

Check to see which nights they have their version of Karaoke--there were some very good singers there the other evening, and the "karaoke" part was a keyboard player with computerized accompaniment.

No lyrics on a tv screen and hardly any audience, but it deserves more. Beautiful music and not much merengque. That for me is a blessing because the ballads they sang were beautiful and the voices were prominently featured.

Great entertainment--the singers were enjoying cigars, a few drinks and each other.

Quite special.
