ATMs & shops near Ocean Blue

I will be staying at Ocean Blue in October and wonder what shopping and cash withdrawal facilities there are nearby. Thanks for all the advice I get from these forums.

Hi,

I was just there last month and would like to warn you about the ATM machine in the hotel. My friend and a couple of other guests tried to take money out but the money did not come out. It took a couple of weeks to get the money back from the bank but just make sure it's working.

For shopping you can go to Plaza Bavaro and Plaza Punta Cana which is about US5.00 cab ride from the hotel.
