I'm currently living in El Cortecito, Baváro, Punta Cana, and am wondering where the closest snorkeling area is. The beach is only 200 mtrs. away but no reef. Someone help!!
We also live in that area. Walk down the beach to the right.(facing the water near Captain Cooks) Right after the Ocean Bavaro hotel is a water sports area. It is not affiliated with the hotel. Christoph gives private snorkling excursions. Daniele is also a good person to talk to. Tell them Caren (from the US) sent you. They are very nice. You'll have fun!
