Default Gran Bahia Punta Cana - 2 questions

We are booked at the regular Junior Suites at the Gran Bahia PC, no Golden for us ...
1.do they provide any soap, shampoo etc. or should we bring our own?
2. I understand that long pants are required for dinner at the specialty restaurants... are nice jeans ok, or do they expect "dress pants"? and what about the buffet for dinner, are shorts acceptable?
Thanks

Yes soap is provided, don't remember if shampoo was there or not as we noramlly carry our own. Correct long pants are required for the specialty restarants and jeans are ok.

Oh, all hotels here in the DR give you soap, towels, etc. and if the hotel is of any "category" e.g. 2 stars and up, they give you shampoo and other toiletries.

Your soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and other toiletries will be replaced daily,

You should be OK with jeans, but bring that long pants just in case. They don't take up lots of space.

Hi- My family got back not too long ago from the Gran Bahia. They provide you toiletries, rather nice ones at that. My husband hated the long pants "thing" because it is rather warm. Restaurants are nicely air conditioned and it gets a little cooler at night. I guess they want to keep up a quality atmosphere ( which is really nice) They say they require pants at the buffet for evening dining however about half the men wore nice shorts to the buffet in the evening and all were permitted in. Have a great time, this resort is amazing!!!!!
