School supplies

Hi, can someone please let me know what the best supplies are to take out to the DR schools. We are going to Punta Cana in November and I have heard there is a school in El Cortecito that welcomes donations.. pens etc.. We would liek to take some of the key items with us.. any views appreciated,

Hey, that's very nice of you.
IMO
1.pen and pencils
2.rulers
3.composition notebooks (I've noticed these are the ones used most often) not spiral.
4. crayons
5.backpacks, most backpacks are bad quality and break easily.
6.pencil cases.
7.sharperners/maybe one of those manual pencil sharpners for the classroom.

Do not take donations directly to the school, this interrupts classes and give the children the idea that begging or accepting gifts is OK. Ilke the teacher doesnt want direct visits.

Find Padre evaristo or see your local tour rep who should be able to help you (Apple reps know how to get things to the school)
