Price excursions

Hallo
Can someone tel us the price for excursions in the area and can we book them only by the big tour operators or is there a better deal on the beach ?

I also like to sail , it is included in the all-in but the problem is i am not a good sailer, i have only sailed 5 times in puerto plata , the first time there was another tourist along with me and he teach ed me for 1 hour , after that i managed to go alone but now it is 3 years ago and here are catamarans , so if anyone now a guy that can teach me for a hour or so, i am willing to pay within reason.
We going to stay in the iberostar dominicana.

the watersports center of the iberostar where you'll get your all in catamaran offers lessons, too, just talk to the guys right there.

You can usually save couple of dollars by booking excursions from indepenent tour operators, youy can find several of them in the Cortecito area along the beach.

even working on the beach myself, a tour like Saona, Santo Domingo, Jeep Safari aso i would not book on the beach. check th internet, check the tour promotions at the lobby area of your hotel, so you are on the secure side.
a very reliable excursion outfitter for all kind of excursions is RH-Tours, they have their offices in the Plaza Bavaro right beside the corner bar and in El Cortecito, very good service providing outfit, their tours are english guided.

Hi Harry,
There are a lot of excursions to do here, but do not buy it on the beach, you should use the tour desk at your hotel or your rep. the prices are not so different and this way you can be sure of teh service
let me give you some examples:
four wheels tour : Extreme or Macau dreams
diving with sharks: Marinarium
horsebackriding: EL Pat Ranch
etc...
If you have some particullary excursion, I can probably give you an adress
