VIP Package at Punta Cana Princess

Is the VIP Package worth the extra $$ at the Punta Cana Princess? We are 2 couples in our mid 40's going next February and are trying to decide whether or not to book the VIP Package. Any advice from past travelers is greatly appreciated.
