hey DD,
saludos al precioso Ciabao desde PC.
the Tortuga Bay is part of the Punta Cana Resort & Club property, very exclusive, sparate villas, the complex does not offer AI.
you'll find a variety of very good restaurants all over the huge area of the resort, they are really good, but also very pricy.
i.e. here at the Marina(i am located at the same property) at the top notch Marina Restaurant La Yola, build on poles on the water at the docks, you pay RD$160.- for one Pequenita Presidente.
the Cap Cana property is the neighbour property at the south end of the resort, starting right beside the Marina, we use the same entrance waters for both Marinas, but security guards will not allow you to enter, neither by car on the road, until you don't have an apointment with them.
walk down to the PC Marina and you see the first buildings on the Cap Cana side.
have fun
Mike

Last April, at the Yola, I paid US 3,18$ for a small Presidente. It was the same price at the Bar Grill (Golf part) + the 16% ITBIS and the 10% propina legal. So the basic price subio un chin ??. It was US 4$ the Restaurant Caleton Cap Cana + taxes.

Default paradisius palma real

mike recommends looking at royal service at the paradisius palma real
same resort

has anyone ever stayed there?

I like the idea of staying at the tortuga bay/palma real as I am looking at buying property at cap cana or up north at sea horse ranch with my fellow cibaeonos

yeah Buddy,
my novia doen't have a colmado, but at least she knows how to walk there and get me some, ha ha
here in the PC area you pay 45-50 pesos for presi at the colmados, bars on the street are mostly 60.
would need several more charter boats to work if all prsis would be at 160.
David, no i understand the "Brit" in your PM, ha ha.
Ireland is a beautiful lovely island, oyu know i'm a country boy.
s'y' jan for some cold's off the royals.
