Hotel with Live Music for dancing

Have stayed at the Melia in the past and we really enjoy the dancing to a live band in the lobby bar. Can anyone recommend another hotel in Punta Cana that provides the same sort of entertainment.

Last year in June when I stayed at the Occ. Grand Flamenco, not sure which night, they had a band and dancing in the lobby near the tiny casino. It was a lot of fun!!

Iberostar has a couple of terrific live bands. They play any kind of music and have a different combination every night. I would definately go back if just for that detail.

thanks for the info. Which Iberostar did you stay in. Did they play Batchata and Merenge

We were in Iberostar Punta Cana but crossed over to the Bavaro every evening too. They played great merengue and bachata!

Ocean Blue has live bands playing. I think they play jazz and otehr stuff. Daily.

Riu Palace Punta Cana has a live band, playing latin music - bachata, salsa, merengue, bolero. Daily.
