Best way to/from airport to resort

2 couples traveling for the first time to Punta Cana. We're booked at the Punta Cana Princess and our package includes hotel transfers. What do experienced Punta Cana travelers recommend for transportation to/from the airport. After waking up early and spending 5 hours on a plane, the last thing we want to do is sit on a bus for 1-2 hours waiting to get to our resort.

Punta Cana Princess is only a half hour from airport.
Take a cab and spend $25 and be there 5 minutes earlier.

did you book your trip through a travel agency? if you did, you just ride the provided transfer through the travel angency. punta cana princess is 20 min away. its not that far.

Punta Cana Princess from the airport is a 25-30 minutes ride,
actual rates are $33.- for up to 5 persons.
